The slogan “Restore… Maintain … Customize”® communicates the purpose of Long Motor Corporation, which is to provide quality parts and accessories.
Long Motor Corporation started in Leo Long's garage where he restored British cars and then sold the spare parts for MGs, Austin Healeys, Triumphs and Sunbeams. Deciding to focus on selling parts, he later added parts for the Mazda RX-7 and Datsun Z cars. Soon after that, parts for Chevrolet, Ford and Dodge trucks were added.
Long Motor Corporation has continued to grow over the years by offering exceptional customer service, a large inventory of high-quality parts, and detailed catalogs that allow customers to see what parts are needed for their project. These catalogs show schematic drawings that many customers use as guidelines for disassembly and reassembly.
In 1993 Long Motor Corporation entered the American truck restoration market, founding LMC Truck. Since then, LMC Truck has grown to become one of the industry's largest sources for truck parts and accessories. Today LMC Truck provides truck parts for Chevrolet and GMC trucks and SUVs (1947 to present), Ford trucks and SUVs (1948 to present) and Dodge trucks and SUVs (1994 to present).
Most recently, Long Motor Corporation has expanded into the van market for Chevy/GMC, Ford and Dodge, and also launched LMCAutoCarpet.com, a website offering carpet and floor mats for most vehicles from the 1940s and up.
Long Motor Corporation currently publishes 29 catalogs and carries over 40,000 parts in stock.
